    Our Research Focus

The Aron Laboratory @ University of Denver investigates the role of metal-binding molecules in microbial interactions. Through innovative mass spectrometry and genome mining techniques, we aim to uncover the molecular mechanisms behind metal uptake and competition in the human microbiome and environmental systems, with the long-term goals of improving metal extraction and advancing microbiome-based therapeutic strategies. We take pride in fostering a collaborative and inclusive research environment, where creativity and scientific curiosity thrive. Our aim is to address real-world challenges through our research.
